Jon Garland

Jon Garland (born September 27, 1979 in Valencia, California) is a right-handed starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who has played with the Chicago White Sox since 2000. He was acquired by the White Sox in a 1998 trade with the crosstown Chicago Cubs, who had selected Garland with the 10th pick of the 1997 amateur draft.

High School Career

At John F.Kennedy High School in Granada Hills,California,John Garland won All-State Player of the Year twice,and won high school All-American honors once.
