Jolbert Cabrera
Jolbert Cabrera [HOLE-bert kah-BRAY-rah] (born December 8, 1972 in Cartagena, Colombia) is a baseball outfielder/infielder who plays with the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks in Japan's Pacific League. Previously, he played in Major League Baseball for the Cleveland Indians (1998–2002), Los Angeles Dodgers (2002–03), and Seattle Mariners (2004). Cabrera hits and throws right-handed. He is the older brother of shortstop Orlando Cabrera.
Cabrera is a highly versatily player able to play every position but pitcher and catcher and held his own wherever he went. He is basically a line-drive hitter with some pop in his bat. As a runner, he has above-average speed and also can get the occasional bag.
In a seven-year career, Cabrera is a .258 hitter with 15 home runs and 145 RBI in 561 games.
