John Severin

John Severin is an American comic book artist most noted for working on the EC Comics line of comic books — primarily on Two-Fisted Tales and Frontline Combat, the company's war comics. He later worked on Cracked magazine, an imitator of satirical magazine Mad.

John Severin worked on Marvel Comics' own Sgt. Fury, and most recently drew the revision of Marvel's western comic The Rawhide Kid.

John Severin has a sister Marie Severin, who is a comic book artist herself and draws in a style similar to his. Both worked for EC Comics and Marvel Comics.
