Career
He, along with Matt Cappotelli was the winner of WWE's Tough Enough III, earning a WWE contract. In 2004, John was introduced as RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff's apprentice, an storyline that had moderate success but was scrapped. He was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling for more seasoning, as the company felt he could achieve more in the ring.
Hennigan debuted on SmackDown! on April 14, 2005, attacking Rey Mysterio. He is now part of the group MNM with Joey Mercury and Melina. On the following edition of SmackDown!, the team of Nitro and Mercury went on to win the tag belts from Mysterio and his partner Eddie Guerrero.
