Joe Moore

Joe Moore is a news anchor and actor from Hawaii. He is currently the news anchor at KHON in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is often described as the most watched television news anchor in Hawaii. He is also a very influential voice in Hawaii: i.e., moderating political debates during election years.

He has been very vocal about the name change of the University of Hawaii at Manoa football team from "Rainbow Warriors" to "Warriors." He even went as far as posing the question of whether the name should be switched back to "Rainbow Warriors" to Honolulu mayor candidates during a 2004 political debate.

He has appeared in many movies and TV series. He is a graduate of Aiea High School and the University of Maryland.
