The, Wikipedia, user, joeblakesley, goes by the (slightly more) mundane name of Joe Llywelyn Griffith Blakesley (initials: J Ll G B).

I'm currently studying a BA in linguistics at the University of Wales, Bangor in the city of Bangor in Gwynedd, North Wales, United Kingdom [GB]. Although I'm staying in halls at Bangor ATM, my home is in Llandudno in Conwy county borough, North Wales.

I was born on 1985-10–03 in London for anyone who is interested. That makes me 19 (last time I updated this) for the mathematically disadvantaged among you.

I'm a bit of a polymath, but I'm mainly an environmentalist. Also I'm a libertarian (and user of free software), hence helping out at Wikipedia.

I'm a newbie here and haven't done much editing. I would like to edit more frequently in the future, but am quite busy ATM. See my contributions.

I've also made some extremely feeble attempts to edit on the Welsh Wicipedia (see my user page there). Although I'm of Welsh descent I never learnt it as a first language and I'm very bad at learning new languages (though I'm trying now).

MetaSoc

MetaSoc is a project to create an XML DTD for organisational (esp. societies’) psuedo-‘metadata’ (probably with an RDF counterpart) and use it to create XML (and thereby HTML) documents with information about non-profit organisations in Bangor, Wales.
