Joan Fuster

Joan Fuster was a Valencian writer whose various texts garnered momentum for a sense of Catalonian identity and recognition for an unofficial "Greater Catalonia", or rather, "Països Catalans", as writ in the native tongue. He is most recognized for "Nosaltres, Els Valencians" (1962), an interpretation of identity written in pure and perfect Catalan. He is more fondly remembered in Catalonia than in Valencia.
