Joan Cadden
Joan Cadden is a beautician and politician from Severna Park, Maryland. She has been a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates in District 31 since 1991. Cadden was a member of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education from 1988-1990
Cadden's political career was nearly derailed in 2001 when her husband was convicted of committing unnatural crimes against their granddaughter. It has been alleged that Cadden's husband received a lighter sentence than average due to her political connections.
Cadden is expected to seek re-election in 2006.
