Jennie McGraw
Jennie McGraw Born in Dryden, NY in 1840, daugther of John McGraw. After her father's death, McGraw inherited a large fortune and in 1880 married Daniel Willard Fiske, Cornell University's librarian and world renowned professor. A lifelong sufferer of ill health, McGraw was suffering from tuberculosis and died shortly after their wedding. Her fortune passed to Fiske, and the subsequent legal battle became known as The Great Will Case.
