The International J/22 is a popular fixed keel racing sailboat normally raced with a crew of three people.

  • Length overall 22.5 ft (6.9 m)
  • Waterline length 19.0 ft (5.8 m)
  • Beam 8.0 ft (2.4 m)
  • Draft 3.8 ft (1.2 m)
  • Displacement 1790 lb (812 kg)
  • Lead keel 700 lb (318 kg)
  • Sail area (100%) 223 ft² (21 m²)

In 2005 there were active racing fleets in Canada, Germany, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, South Africa and USA.

The 2005 J/22 World Championships will be held 1–9 July, 2005 at the ISCM in Medemblik, Netherlands.
