Journal of the American Chemical Society

The Journal of the American Chemical Society (abbreviated usually as J. Am. Chem. Soc., or JACS), is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, published since 1879 by the American Chemical Society. It publishes original research papers in all fields of chemistry. According to Thomson ISI, JACS is the paper with more citations in this field.
The current Editor is Peter J. Stang of the University of Utah.
