The Donner family is one of the renowned and wealthy Finland-Swedish families that grew in importance during the times of the Grand Duchy of Finland.
- Otto Donner (1835–1909), linguist, publisher, member of parliament, and senator. Finland-Swedish by mother tongue, fennoman by conviction.
- Anders Severin Donner, astronomer.
- Ossian Donner, industrialist and diplomat, initiator of the whool works in Hyvinkää, independent Finland's special emmissary to the League of Nations during the Ã…land crisis, and embassador to London 1919–1925. Ossian Donner left Finland's Civil Service due to his reluctance to learn Finnish.
- Kai Donner (1888–1935), linguist and politician.
- Jörn Donner (1933–), writer, film director, actor, producer and politician associated with several different political parties.
