Kannappa Iynkaran

Dr Kannappa Iynkaran (June 1 1946 – ) was the first in Singapore to put foward the ideology that lecturing was history and multimedia was the future. He worked on the Fluid Mechanics multimedia project at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in the early 1990s.
He believed that examples can be improved if examples and practice are embedded in the lecture. For example: 10 minutes of lecture followed by worked examples and practice problems which give detailed feedback on the work and solutions.
He has also written books on Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics.
