Italian Socialist Party

The Italian Socialist Party (Partito Socialista Italiano, PSI) was a social democratic political party founded in Genoa in 1892. For the majority of its existence it was overshadowed the larger leftwing party, the Communist Party.

For many years the leader of the PSI was Bettino Craxi.
