Isuzu Oasis

The Isuzu Oasis is a car and the result of a joint venture between Isuzu and Honda.

The agreement was that Isuzu will build a Rodeo for Honda and call it the Passport. Honda, on the other hand will allow Isuzu to sell a rebadged Odyssey called the Oasis. The Odyssey was a huge success when compared to the Oasis. The Oasis sold for less and offered a better warranty. Honda, however, offered one thing that matters most, brand recognition. The Oasis sold from the 1996 model year to the 1999 model year. The Odyssey changed in design in 1998, but Isuzu still sold the original body with minor changes all the way through 1999.
