Israeli MIAs

Several hundred members of the Israeli military have been declared Missing In Action since 1948. Only five are believed to still be alive in captivity.

The following are the MIAs believed to be alive today:

• Zachary Baumel
• Tzvi Feldman
• Yehuda Katz
  • Tank crewmembers declared missing after the Battle of Sultan Yakoub in Lebanon, 1982.

• Ron Arad
  • F-4 navigator lost over Lebanon in 1986.

• Guy Hever
  • IDF conscript who disappeared on duty in the Golan Heights, 1997.
