Ishe Smith is a professional boxer, who is currently taking part in the The Contender – at the time of filming he was 26 years old.

His NBC profile lists him as 5' 10" and 154lbs, with a record of 15 wins, 1 loss and 7 knockouts.

A Las Vegan, he spent much of his time on The Contender warring with Ahmed Khaddour, beating him in the first round before he was reintroduced in the second.

Ishe was later eliminated from the competition in the first quarter-final by Sergio Mora. He had already beaten Alfonso Gomez, another contestant, prior to the show, and Gomez went on to beat Khaddour.

Ishe Smith is a devoted Christian, wearing "Psalm 107" on the back of his shorts, with his nickname "Sugar Shay" on the front.
