Investment Advisors Act of 1940

Also identified as Title 15, Chapter 2D of the United States Code, this Act was created to regulate the actions of Investment Advisors as defined by the text of the bill.

Jurisdiction

(3) the foregoing transactions occur in such volume as substantially to affect interstate commerce, national securities exchanges, and other securities markets, the national banking system and the national economy
