Innoko River

The Innoko River is a river in western Alaska at about 64°0′ N 156°30′ W. It flows north from its origin south of Cloudy Mountain in the Kuskoswim Mountains and then flows southwest to its end at the Yukon River, across from Holy Cross, Alaska.

The river is about 725 km (450 miles) long. It is within the Innoko National Wildlife Refuge.

Innoko is probably an Ingalik Athabascan name for the river. The Russian colonial administrators also called the river Shiltonotno, Legon or Tlegon, Chagelyuk or Shageluk and Ittege at various times.
