The Inner West Line is a railway line located in the Inner West region of Sydney, Australia.

History

The line originally opened in 1855, as the Sydney to Parramatta rail line. The original four intermediate stations were Newtown, Ashfield, Burwood, and Homebush. The line was soon serviced by ten steam trains per day.
