Innate differences between the sexes

Innate differences between the sexes may or may not exist, depending on whom you ask. Aside from biological differences, are there any emotional, intellectual or other differences whose existence cannot be pinned on social factors?

Recent remarks by the president of Harvard University did little to re-open this question. Well-publicized opposition forced him to make a series of apologies.

Ms. Liebau, a political analyst and commentator based in San Marino, Calif. wrote in the weekly Human Events Online:

"For feminists, entertaining any conjecture about innate differences between the sexes, even in the spirit of scientific inquiry, is not just misguided or even offensive — it's tantamount to heresy." [1]
