Ignatius Wolfington
Ignatius 'Iggie' Wolfington (October 14 1920 – September 30 2004) was an actor best known for playing Marcellus Washburn in the Broadway musical The Music Man. He was nominated for a Actor, Supporting or Featured (Musical) Tony Award in 1958 for his role.
He spent 15 years as West Coast representative of the Actor's Fund of America, which helps actors in need of financial, medical and other assistance.
Wolfington served in the U.S. Army in World War II, receiving a Purple Heart and Silver Star as well as a battlefield commission as a first lieutenant.
