Ibrahim Yattara

Ibrahim Yattara (born 3 June 1980) is a Guinean footballer playing for Turkish team Trabzonspor.

Yattara arrived in Trabzon in 2003 from Belgian team Antwerp. He immediately excited the fans with his talent and creativity. However, he has proved to be equally infuriating for some of the Trabzonspor coaches with his inconsistency and sometimes lazy attitude. His talent is without question, on his night he is one of the best players in Turkey. On some nights, he is barely noticeable.

Despite the dark side to his game, he is immensely popular with the Trabzonspor fans. He is also regarded as one of the best foreign players in Turkey. His close ball control and pinpoint crosses mean he is always going to be a threat to opposing teams. In his first season at the club Yattara ended up with the most assists, despite being on the bench for a large number of games. He has continued to improve his game but remains somewhat of an enigma. Many people believe that he has the capability to become one of the very best players in Europe.
