Ibkilwit Lava Bed
The Ibkilwit Lava Bed is a lava bed on Nunivak Island, Alaska. It is one mile east of Karon Lake and twelve miles north of Cape Mendenhall.
Name
The name of Ibkilwit is an Eskimo term that was recorded in 1949. Variations include Ebcyeet, Ibkhikhyit, and Ibxixyit.
