Ibi District, Gifu

Ibi (揖斐郡; -gun) is a district located in Gifu, Japan.

As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 74,400 and a density of 84.87 persons per km². The total area is 876.65 km².

Mergers

On January 31, 2005 the former villages of Fujihashi, Kasuga, Kuze, Sakauchi, and Tanigumi merged into the expanded town of Ibigawa.
