I'll Be Missing You
"I'll Be Missing You" (or "I'll Be Missin' You") is a song in memory of The Notorious B.I.G. who was murdered not long before the song was released in 1997. It sampled the melody of The Police's "Every Breath You Take" from the 80s. It was performed by Puff Daddy, Faith Evans and 112. As well as these artists, Sting (vocalist from The Police) joined in at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1997 along with the Family.
There are a few different versions of this song. One being an extended version (choir at beginning), another without the choir and an instrumental version.
