Hurricane Isaac
The name Isaac has been used for two tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean.
- 1988's Tropical Storm Isaac – short-lived storm that had tropical characteristics for only 18 hours, never threatened land.
- 2000's Hurricane Isaac – reached Category 4 strength, but stayed mostly in the open sea. It caused waves that capsized a boat near Long Island, drowning one person.
