Hurricane Barry
The name Barry has been used for four tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean.
- 1983's Hurricane Barry – approached Florida as a tropical storm, weakened to a depression before crossing, strengthened to a hurricane after exiting into the Gulf of Mexico and struck Mexico, causing some damage there.
- 1989's Tropical Storm Barry – dissipated in the mid-Atlantic without threatening land.
- 1995's Tropical Storm Barry – formed off South Carolina then moved north, making landfall on eastern tip of Nova Scotia, causing no damage.
- 2001's Tropical Storm Barry – made landfall in Florida, causing two deaths and $30 million in damage.
