Hudson Bay Railway

The Hudson Bay Railway operates two ex-Canadian National branch lines in northern Manitoba. From the northern terminus of CN trackage at The Pas, one branch extends northward to Lynn Lake. A second extends to Churchill, the "polar bear capital of the world," providing a useful link for the export of Canadian grain to European markets, via a rail-sea terminal at Churchill.
