Hucknall Town F.C.
Hucknall Town F.C. are an English association football team based in the town of Hucknall in Nottinghamshire. They were founded in 1945.
Since 1999 they have played in the Premier Division of the Northern Premier League, and won the championship in the 2003–04 season. However, their Watnall Road ground does not meet the standards of the Football Conference so they will not be promoted to the Conference National division, having to settle for a place in the new Conference North.
This is still an impressive achievement for a side that was in county and local leagues before joining the Central Midlands League in 1989, from which they rose through the Northern Counties East League before successive promotions to the First and Premier divisions of the NPL in 1998 and 1999.
