Hoover's, Inc.

Hoover's, Inc. is a business research company that has provided information on U.S. companies and industries since 1990, originally only in print form, but since 1993 has also made the information available on the website Hoover's Online.
Originally started by former bookstore owner turned entreprenuer Gary Hoover, it now is a subsidiary of Dun & Bradstreet, and has a database of 12 million companies and an editorial staff of about 80 editors. After a couple previous failures to establish a foothold in Europe, in 2004 the latest incarnation of Hoover's Online UK was launched.
