Hobby Scout

The Hobby Scout, a monthly hobby publication, began in 1921 with Edward Fricka as Editor-in-Chief, George Fricka and Adolph Quail as Assistant Editors and William Stoeltje, John McConnell, Joseph Snyder and Henry Bauman as Associate Editors. Billing itself as "Chicago's Leading Tribe Paper" the four page magazine contained editorials, advertising and articles of interest to subscribers and local hobbyists. Subscriptions were 25 cents for one year. After a limited run of four issues the publication ceased operating after the May, 1921 issue.
