Hiratsuka, Kanagawa


Hiratsuka (平塚市 Hiratsuka-shi) is a city located in Kanagawa, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 255,754 and the density of 3,770.51 persons per km². The total area is 67.83 km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1932.

Hiratsuka's sister city is Lawrence, Kansas.
