Heosemys

Heosemys is a genus of turtles in the family Bataguridae. The genus Heosemys was split out of the larger genus Geoemyda by McDowell (1964).

• Arakan Forest Turtle — H. depressa (Anderson, 1875)
• Giant Asian Pond Turtle — H. grandis (Gray, 1860)
• Philippine Pond Turtle (also Leyte Pond Turtle) — H. leytensis (Taylor, 1920)
• Spiny Turtle — H. spinosa (Bell, 1830)

The Cochin Forest Cane Turtle (Geoemyda silvatica) for a time was placed in Heosemys, as was the Sulawesi Forest Turtle (Leucocephalon yuwonoi).
