Henry North Holroyd

Henry North Holroyd (Viscount Pevensey) (born January 18 1832 in Marylebone, London – died April 21 1909 in Beaulieu, France) was an English cricketer.

He was also known as the 3rd Earl of Sheffield.

In 1891, he presented a donation of £150 to the New South Wales Cricket Association which was used to purchase a plate and establish the competition known as the Sheffield Shield.
