Henninger Turm

The Henninger Turm

The Henninger Turm (tower) is a grain silo with a storage capacity of 16,000 tons of barley. It is owned by the Henninger brewery and is located in the Frankfurt district of Sachsenhausen. The 120 metre high tower was designed by Karl Lieser and was built from 1959 to 1961. Its inaugauration was on May 18th, 1961.

The Henninger Tower has two rotating restaurants at the height of 101 and 106 metres and an open-air observation deck at the height of 110 metres. The tower has been closed to the public since October 31st, 2002.
