Hegang

Hegang (鹤岗, Haoli) is a city of more than 100 000 inhabitants in Heilongjiang province of the People's Republic of China. Hegang is a city within a coal mining area.

A prison in Hegang prefecture covering an area of 400 square kilometres is Wutonghe Prison. Prisoners have to work on Wutonghe Farm. The farm was established in 1950 by the Provincial Public Security Bureau.
