Hector MacLean, Lord of Dowart (c1560-c1630); aka Hector MacLean of Dowart; aka Hector MacLean of Duart aka Hector Og Maclean was a Scottish Lord of the Clan MacLean.

Birth
Hector was most likely the son of Lachlan Mor MacLean, Lord of Dowart (c1535–1598) and Margaret Cunningham of Glensairen. He married Isabella Atcheson of Gosford. Isabella was the daughter of Archibald Atcheson of Gosford. Together they had the following children: John Hans MacLean, Iain Dubh Baronet (1604–1666) who moved to Sweden and took the name John Hans Makeléer and married Anna Gubbertz (c1595–1653); Donald MacLean, 1st Laird of Brolas who married Florence MacLean who was his cousin; and Isabelle MacLean. He may have had a daughter: Katherine MacLean (1590-?) who married Sir John of Dunollie (c1585–1634), Seventeenth chief of the clan and the son of Duncan (16th) of Dunollie in 1610.
