Head Automatica

Head Automatica is an electronic rock band, formed by Glassjaw frontman Daryl Palumbo. Their debut album, Decadence, was released in August 2004. It was produced by Dan 'The Automator' Nakamura, famous for his work with groups including Gorillaz and Handsome Boy Modeling School. They have played with bands such as Thursday, Cursive, Hopesfall, The Used and Lostprophets.

Album name history

  • Started as demos back in November 2003, first tracked laid ('At the speed of a yellow bullet')
  • Tokyo Decadence was the album name during production, February to July, along with preliminary track names
  • Decadence was then chosen at the end of July, tracklist was finalised to 11 tracks, with some of the production demos planned for singles and B-Sides
