Hay, New South Wales

Hay is a town and Local Government Area in western New South Wales, Australia. Hay is located at the junction of the Sturt Highway and Mid-Western Highway. Hay is located on the north bank of the Murrumbidgee River. Hay was settled in the mid 1800s. The main activities are sheep farming and some irrigated agriculture along the rivers.
