Har Mar Superstar

Har Mar Superstar (real name: Sean Tillmann) is an American singer born in Owatonna, Minnesota.

While remaining relatively unknown in his home country, he has found fame in the U.K. indie rock/dance scene. A genuinely talented musician, Har Mar Superstar is a character who patterns himself after porn star Ron Jeremy; overweight, nearly nude seemingly obsessed with own sexual prowess. His musical genre is generally lewd R'n'B music, mixed with electroclash.

He originally claimed to be Sean Tillman's twin brother, Harold Martin Tillman, from which he claimed his name originated. The name actually comes from a shopping center in Roseville, Minnesota called the Har Mar Mall.

Har Mar is also the spokesperson for Vladivar Vodka, who produced a series of television commercials that gained an underground cult appreciation for their blatantly sexual content.

Other Musical Careers

Tillmann was a co-founder and the singer/songwriter for the mid-nineties punk band Calvin Krime, as well as the indie-rock band Sean Na Na.
