Hamilton, Ontario (township)

Hamilton Township (2001 population 10,785) is located in Northumberland County in eastern Ontario. It extends from Rice Lake to Lake Ontario.

The township was named after Henry Hamilton, Lieutenant-Governor of Quebec from 1782–1785.
