Hachi

Hachi (八衛門, Hachiemon) is a character in the anime/manga series InuYasha.

Hachiemon is a tanuki, and the partner of Miroku. Miroku often calls him Hachi as a nickname. Together they work many scams where the tanuki transforms into a demon, and Miroku exorcises him in exchange for money. Hachiemon is a very loyal friend to Miroku and saved his life when he was attacked by Mushin.

He is voiced by Toshihiko Nakajima in the original television series and by Terry Klassen in the English dubbed version on the series.
