Grindleford

Grindleford is a small town in the county of Derbyshire, United Kingdom. Its nearest major city is Sheffield (around 15 miles away), and it lies on the Hope Valley Line, a railway linking Sheffield with Manchester. As it lies within the Peak District National Park the countryside is spectacular. During warm weather the town is very popular with visitors, particularly walkers and climbers enjoying the nearby Derbyshire Dales and Hope Valley.

Favourite attractions in the town include the Maynard Arms Hotel and Bar, and the Grindleford Station Cafe, which is situated in the old station house.
