Grecophone
A Grecophone is a person that speaks the Greek language either natively or by adoption. As an adjective, the word means "Greek-speaking."
The world's two official Grecophone countries are Greece, where the language originates, and the Mediterranean island nation Cyprus, where Greek is spoken by the southern two-thirds of the island and is co-official with Turkish, spoken prediminantely in the north. There is also a sizeable Grecophone immigrant population in the United States and in Canada.
