Greater Poland Uprising 1846

Greater Poland Uprising of 1846 (Polish: powstanie wielkopolskie 1846 roku) was a planned military insurrection of the Polish people in the Greater Poland region against the occupying Prussian forces, designed to be a part of the all-Polish uprising in the 3 partitions of Poland, against the Russians, Austrians and Prussians.

Because the other insurrections failed and the leaders of the underground organization were arrested by the Prussian authorities, no serious military hostilities occurred in this year.
