Great Britain at the 2000 Summer Olympics
The United Kingdom competed as Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and was commonly referred to as Great Britain. It was the twenty-fourth time that the nation had competed, being one of only three nations to compete in every Summer Olympics to that point. Great Britain competed under the IOC country code GBR.

The three British triathletes that finished the inaugural Olympic triathlon placed highly, with none lower than fifteenth place and two in the top ten. However, three more British athletes did not finish the competition.
