Good-girl art
Good-girl art is a term used by comic book collectors to describe works where the female characters are drawn in a very beautiful manner and placed in provocative situations very often involving bondage.
The greatest period for good-girl art was the 1940s to 1950s. Chief among Bill Ward for the blonde Torchy and arguably the king of good-girl art Matt Baker one of the few African Americans working during the golden age of comics as a artist. His rendition of Phantom Lady is much remembered today amongst collectors today.
Today good-girl art is much sought after by collectors. AC Comics is a comic company known for their line of new and reprint comics featuring good-girl art.
