Gol (Lolo)

Gols are an enemy featured in The Adventures of Lolo series.

A Gol resembles a pink dinosaur. They stay in one place and face one direction. When Lolo takes all the Heart Framers in a level, all Gols will wake up. When awake, Gols will shoot a fireball at Lolo if Lolo crosses into their line of sight. Gols may only shoot one fireball at a time and cannot shoot another until the first one hits something and disappears.

Gol facts

• Gols were always an enemy since the very first MSX computer game Eggerland Mystery.
• Gols' attack varies in some games. In some games, Lolo needs to be entirely in the Gol's line of sight before the Gol will fire, yet in other games Lolo need only be halfway into the line of sight.
• The fireball's speed also varies in some games.
• If an object is right in front of the Gol, the Gol will not fire.
• The Gol's graphic stayed nearly the same until Adventures of Lolo 2, where the graphic was improved a little
• Gols are red in the Windows version of Eggerland and have an angrier look.
• Gols in the Windows version will fire even if an object is right in front of them.
