Ghadir Mokheimer

Ghadir Mokheimer was a Palestinian girl. On October 13 2004, at the age of 10, she was hit in the chest by Israel Defense Force gunfire. This critically wounded her, and she died the following day.

The IDF claimed it was firing back at the source of shells fired upon its troops. Some sources, including CNN which cited locals, reported she was inside her UNRWA-run school in the city/refugee camp of Khan Yunis when she was shot.
